Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions to patients across various clinical areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to patients with complex medical and neurological conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement remedial and preventative treatment programs to promote patient independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical governance activities, including quality improvement initiatives and peer review.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy (MSc or equivalent).
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Band 5 Occupational Therapist in an acute physical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
