Position Overview
Reports to: Site Maintenance Manager
Direct reports: None
Working Hours: Continental shift pattern (4 on, 4 off) with 12-hour shifts, alternating between day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support for both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance tasks
- Assist in achieving production goals while prioritizing maintenance activities
- Facilitate collaboration between Operations and Engineering teams
- Evaluate risk assessments and method statements
- Mentor and guide the Manufacturing Technician team
- Engage in site Project and Change Initiatives
- Identify and resolve root cause problems
Required Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance capabilities
- Experience in a manufacturing setting
- Possession of City & Guilds 2391 certification
- Collaborative team player with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to effectively manage workloads
- Proficient in computer usage
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or high-volume production environments
- Experience in leadership and coaching roles
- Familiarity with PLC systems
- Experience with CMMS and SCADA systems
