About the Role
Columbia Threadneedle Investments is seeking an experienced Investment Grade Portfolio Manager to join our EMEA Investment Grade Portfolio Manager team. As an IG Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Investment Grade assets across various strategies, including Buy & Maintain, Cashflow Match, Asset-Liability Match, and Capital Aware portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Buy & Maintain Duration Target and/or Cashflow Matching portfolios for LDI-related Pension clients.
- Work with the internal Solutions team on structuring and execution of credit solutions for Insurance and Pension clients.
- Help integrate ESG characteristics across Buy & Maintain and Insurance portfolios.
- Manage and minimize credit rating migration risk across Buy & Maintain and Insurance portfolios.
- Manage credit risk across multiple markets and currencies (GBP, EUR, and USD) including knowledge of appropriate derivatives for the efficient management of Insurance and Pension Buy & Maintain portfolios.
- Contribute to team debate to help develop Issuer, Industry, and Credit Market views to be implemented in portfolios across the desk.
Requirements
- Proven credit market experience and familiarity with GBP, EUR, and/or USD credit markets.
- Knowledge and understanding of assessing corporate credit risk.
- Ability to explain credit risk factors and positioning to internal and external clients.
- Ability to explain credit market outlook to internal and external clients.
