Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Content Specialist to join our team at George Buckland. As a key member of our medical writing team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality medical education materials across the therapeutic areas of Oncology and Endocrinology.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work on medical education projects that focus on medical writing, editing, and content development. You will have the chance to work on complex, scientifically engaging medical writing assignments for top pharma companies, and contribute to the development of medical education materials that make a real impact on healthcare professionals and their patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and write high-quality medical education materials, including but not limited to, educational articles, whitepapers, and consensus publications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical editors, scientists, and designers to ensure that medical education materials meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical developments and research in Oncology and Endocrinology, and apply this knowledge to create engaging and informative medical education materials.
- Work closely with the medical writing team to develop and implement a five-year personalized career development plan, and participate in the mentoring and development of other medical writers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Proven experience as a medical writer or content specialist in the pharmaceutical or medical education industry.Strong understanding of medical writing principles, including but not limited to, regulatory requirements, scientific accuracy, and editorial standards.Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different styles and formats.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.What We Offer
