Our organization is a leader in providing specialized support services, assisting over 70 Local Authorities with their housing requirements.
We are seeking skilled Care Assistants who possess strong administrative abilities and a foundational knowledge of the Social Housing Sector.
Your role will involve delivering exceptional support to individuals with diverse needs, facilitating daily living activities, and encouraging self-sufficiency.
Responsibilities of an Evening Care Assistant:
Assess needs and deliver assistance to a variety of clients from different backgrounds.
Assist individuals with everyday tasks, including medication reminders, financial planning, attending appointments, and liaising with external support organizations.
Monitor, identify, and advocate for safeguarding measures while adhering to the whistleblowing protocol to report any concerns.
Evaluate properties to ensure readiness for new occupants, promoting safe usage of shared spaces and private areas within the property.
Uphold confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations (GDPR).
Collaborate with Housing Officers to offer guidance and assistance to tenants facing various housing-related challenges.
Complete documentation that addresses the needs of tenants, providing daily reports to track individual progress.
Engage in training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
NVQ Level 4 or an equivalent professional qualification in Care Support and Supervision (preferred).
Prior experience in supported housing management, including property upkeep (preferred).
Familiarity with housing laws and licensing agreements (preferred).
Enthusiastic about developing and implementing solutions for immediate and long-term challenges.
Possession of a UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
