Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive pharmacist to fulfill a vital role within our organization. This position will focus on the Aseptic Production Unit, where you will serve as the authorized pharmacist responsible for ensuring the highest standards of pharmaceutical care.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Dispense high-quality systemic anticancer therapy items, including those for clinical trials.
  • Provide essential parenteral nutrition services to both adult and neonatal patients.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to align our services with national quality standards.
  • Gain extensive experience in aseptic dispensing, contributing to the Scottish national aseptic audit programme upon completion of training.

Team Collaboration:

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including oncology and haematology pharmacists as well as dieticians, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be a GPhC registered pharmacist with strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the capacity to work effectively within a team. Experience in project and change management is advantageous.
