About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Theatre Practitioner - Scrub to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons and anaesthetists during operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient surgical process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during operations
- Prepare and maintain operating theatre equipment and supplies
- Monitor and maintain a safe and clean operating environment
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance your skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current HCPC/NMC registration
- Postgraduate experience in theatres
- 12 months surgical (scrub) experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others
