About the Role:
- Reporting to the Directors: The Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the office and operational tasks.
- Overseeing the Customer Service Team: The Operations Manager will work closely with the Customer Service team members to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Reviewing Customer Orders: The Operations Manager will review completed customer orders, verify accuracy, and agreed project delivery timescales.
- Improving System Usage: The Operations Manager will review the current use of the ERP and implement changes to improve system usage and the quality of orders.
- Building Cross-Team Relationships: The Operations Manager will build strong cross-team relationships and communication between sales, customer service, production, finance, and other departments.
- Reviewing Office Processes: The Operations Manager will review general office and operational processes and implement new ways of working as and when required.
- IT and Software Issues: The Operations Manager will act as the main point of contact for IT/Software issues and report to external providers to resolve issues as and when they occur.
- Health and Safety: The Operations Manager will be responsible for the ad-hoc general office-based Health and Safety policy, including conducting monthly checks, annual risk assessments, and Display Screen Assessments.
- Employee Onboarding: The Operations Manager will ensure that new employees joining the business have all the necessary equipment and required paperwork prior to commencement.
- Office Maintenance: The Operations Manager will organize and oversee ad-hoc office maintenance and routine maintenance visits when required.
About You:
- Experience: Must have experience as a Senior Administrator, Office Manager, Office Coordinator, Office Assistant, Office Administrator, Operations Assistant, or similar within an office-based environment.
- Computer Literacy: Must be computer literate with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a good level of general confidence around learning new systems.
- Process Improvement: Experience of implementing new processes and systems to improve business productivity.
