Job Title: Project Manager - Construction
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client, a leading Main Contractor in the construction industry. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate construction projects to ensure timely completion and within budget
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Oversee the planning, organization, and execution of construction projects
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Monitor and control project costs, including budgeting and forecasting
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in a Main Contractor environment
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, methods, and materials
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Project
- Hold a degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or architecture
