Job Opportunity: Food Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Manager to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland. As a Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading our culinary and catering teams to deliver exceptional food experiences and world-class customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Quality Control: Prepare delicious food to the highest standards and ensure that our culinary teams are equipped to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
  • Team Management: Manage our culinary and catering teams to ensure that we continue to deliver exceptional food experiences and meet our business objectives.
  • Operations Oversight: Oversee the catering operations, including completing weekly business returns, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans to drive business growth.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets, and represent Compass Group UK & Ireland in a positive and professional manner.
  • Training and Development: Support and train our teams to ensure that everyone has the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their roles.
  • Health and Safety: Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
Requirements:
  • Previous Management Experience: Have previous management experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Communication and Organisational Skills: Have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for Food and Customer Service: Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service, with a commitment to delivering high-quality experiences.
  • Financial Acumen: Demonstrate brilliant financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and drive business growth.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate: Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, or be willing to obtain one.
