About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Exemplar Health Care, a leading provider of nursing care services for adults with complex needs. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to improve the care and support of individuals with acquired brain injuries and neurobehaviors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning and Service Development: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to commission new services and develop strategies to improve the care and support of individuals with acquired brain injuries and neurobehaviors.
  • Specialist Psychological Interventions: Provide high-quality direct and indirect specialist psychological interventions to individuals with acquired brain injuries and neurobehaviors, taking professional responsibility and exercising autonomous judgment in professional practice.
  • Training and Development: Train staff to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with acquired brain injuries and neurobehaviors, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide effective support.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the clinical effectiveness of your own practice and service delivery by using appropriate outcome measures, collating evidence of good practice, and supporting lessons learned.
Requirements
  • Professional Registration: Professional registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professions Council (HPC).
  • Strong Focus on Care: A strong focus on the care and support of individuals with acquired brain injuries and neurobehaviors.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: A pragmatic approach with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to apply these in complex and challenging situations.
