Electrical and Instrumentation Team Supervisor

Astute's Power team is seeking an experienced EC&I Team Leader / Supervisor to join the maintenance department of a large Energy from Waste plant in Kent. This plant produces up to 45MW of Power by processing up to 550,000 tonnes of waste per year, usually destined for landfill.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day maintenance activities to ensure maximum plant availability.
- Assist in delivering the overall maintenance & engineering strategy, implementing new maintenance techniques & approaches, and managing the EC&I budget.
- Work alongside the Maintenance Planner and Mechanical Team Leader to ensure work is appropriately allocated and delivered, and develop the site's CMMS.
- Act as the EC&I lead during planned outages, manage specialist contractors on site, and ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner and in line with company safety policies, safety rules, and relevant H&S legislation.
- Act as the site's Authorised / Nominated Person and deputise for the Maintenance Manager as needed.
