Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an Onsite Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing desktop support expertise, resolving incidents and service requests, and maintaining the asset management system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and diagnose desktop or laptop-related incidents and service requests
  • Resolve and close incidents and service requests within allocated timelines
  • Evaluate options and recommend solutions within the framework of IT standards
  • Communicate with customers regarding incident progress
  • Conduct regular asset audits and maintain the asset management system
  • Deliver location-assigned projects within agreed timelines
  • Maintain meeting rooms IT equipment on healthy status
  • Assist location administrators with IT orders
  • Comply with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment policies and IT policies
  • Liaise with customers, other IT support groups, and third-party providers when necessary
Requirements
  • Studying towards or has already completed a BS in IT-related degree
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to engage positively with others
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of telecommunications and networking principles relating to LAN and WAN technologies
  • Ability to acquire basic knowledge of terms and concepts associated with oilfield rigs and Business Lines Operations
  • Ability to develop a strong understanding of the standard Desktop Services setup
  • Ability to familiarize with current Desktop and Network challenges and opportunities
  • Skilled at evaluating options and recommending solutions within the framework of IT standards
  • Knowledge of conflict management styles or skilled at managing and transforming a situation into a resolution
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various IT teams and providers both internal and external
  • Ability to understand provider's Schlumberger PO & non-PO processes and the internal recharge mechanism
