We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our expert teaching team within the Law, Policing and Protective Services department at Newcastle College.
About the RoleAs a Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching students across a range of abilities, from Entry Level to Level 6, and translating the technical requirements of the workplace into engaging lessons.
You will have high expectations of your students and be committed to supporting their progress and developing positive relationships with them.
Working collaboratively with other teachers and managers, you will seek innovative ways to engage students in the subject and motivate them to succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Teach on courses from Entry Level to Level 6, developing and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of students.
- Support students' progress and develop positive relationships with them, including those with special educational needs.
- Contribute to developing and implementing the curriculum, ensuring the success of your department and the College.
- Undertake administrative duties and develop assessment strategies to support student learning.
