We are seeking a dedicated General Supervisor to join our team at HMP Bure, a Category C, Male prison. Our team is a supportive and driven family, working together to create a safe and nurturing environment. HMP Bure runs like a self-contained town, requiring hundreds of people to keep it functioning. As the Facilities Maintenance Team, we are committed to driving the smooth and safe operation, impacting every prisoner, employee, and visitor, as well as the wider community.

We are a Ministry of Justice business, providing critical and time-bound services to HMPPS. We are looking for a General Supervisor with any combination of:

  • Previous recognised experience and supervisory skills in the facilities management service
  • Experience of compliance
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
  • Relevant professional qualifications (facilities management / project management)
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills

Holidays are 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays, and a range of non-contractual benefits are provided.
