Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a building fabric bias to join our team in support of a new contract with Northern Ireland Water. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services within NI Water facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform reactive and planned building fabric repairs and maintenance within NI Water facilities, including basic plumbing tasks based on your skillset.
  • Engage in reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and minor project works to support the development of NI Water's facilities management strategy.
  • Complete and submit accurate documentation in both hard copy and electronic formats.
  • Utilise PDAs or other electronic devices to manage and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Adhere to the highest health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments for each task to ensure best practices.
  • Provide regular out-of-hours cover as part of a rota system.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a building maintenance role, particularly with carpentry or joinery skills.
  • Full UK Driver's License.
  • Registered CSCS/CSR Card or equivalent skill card.
  • Asbestos awareness training.
