We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Niyaa People Ltd, a property maintenance company based in East Anglia. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing refurbishment and planned maintenance contracts, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce tender documents using different forms and types of contract, including forms of contract to facilitate Partnership and Joint Venture arrangements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to contractors.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate tracking of project costs and revenues.
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement project plans, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quantity surveying, preferably in a property maintenance or construction industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other relevant software applications.
