We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Niyaa People Ltd, a property maintenance company based in East Anglia. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing refurbishment and planned maintenance contracts, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce tender documents using different forms and types of contract, including forms of contract to facilitate Partnership and Joint Venture arrangements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to contractors.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate tracking of project costs and revenues.
- Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement project plans, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying, preferably in a property maintenance or construction industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other relevant software applications.
