Position Overview

Flourish Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated Nursery Educator to join our team in a Local Authority Nursery School. This establishment caters to children aged 2 to 4 years and features a Forest School.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Full class responsibilities, collaborating with another educator.
  • Planning and preparing educational resources.
  • Marking and providing feedback on student work.
  • Guiding and directing teaching assistants throughout the day.
Working Hours

This role is a full-time position, operating from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, during term time only. The contract is long-term, extending until the conclusion of the academic year.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience in Early Years (EYFS) within the UK, preferably in a nursery setting.
  • A strong ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Effective deployment of teaching assistants.
  • A current DBS on the Update Service or issued within the last year.
  • At least two professional references.
