Academics is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Autism Support Worker. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with autism.

As an Autism Support Worker, you will work closely with students who require additional support to reach their full potential. You will participate in team meetings with behaviour analysts and on-site psychologists to develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student's needs.

The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude, a genuine interest in helping students succeed, and excellent communication skills. You will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with autism
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and develop strategies for improvement
  • Support students in developing their social, emotional, and academic skills
