Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Engineer to join our team at HEELS & BROGUES GROUP LIMITED. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a range of plant equipment, including excavators, telehandlers, and rollers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair:
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on excavators, telehandlers, and rollers
    • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement solutions
    • Ensure equipment is serviced to high standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Servicing:
    • Conduct regular servicing to ensure optimal performance and longevity
    • Keep accurate records of all servicing and repairs
  • Inspection and Testing:
    • Carry out thorough inspections and testing to identify potential issues
    • Ensure equipment is safe and compliant with regulations and standards
  • Parts Management:
    • Order and manage spare parts and consumables
    • Maintain an organised inventory of parts and tools
  • Documentation:
    • Complete detailed reports on maintenance, repairs, and inspections
    • Maintain up-to-date records in the maintenance management system
  • Health and Safety:
    • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • Relevant technical qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing plant equipment
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Valid driving license
