Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join our team in Manchester.

The successful candidate will provide high-level support to partners and fee earners, managing complex travel arrangements and assisting with daily secretarial duties.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support to the Conveyancing team
  • Managing diaries and arranging travel
  • Assisting with secretarial duties such as managing bundles
  • Contributing to knowledge sharing and growth
  • Providing effective and high-quality secretarial support
  • Undertaking tasks using appropriate tools and resources
  • Demonstrating flexibility and contributing to team success
  • Ensuring work is prioritized correctly
  • Communicating with team coordinators and leaders
  • Following team processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Extensive relevant experience as a Conveyancing Secretary
  • At least 3 years solid experience
  • Strong working knowledge of iManage and Bighand or similar tools
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Elite billing
  • Excellent document management and filing skills
  • Excellent telephone manner and organisation skills
  • Ability to apply knowledge and judgement to solve problems
  • Experience of delegating to and training junior team members
