Junior Sous Chef - Gateway Hospitality Recruitment

Our esteemed client is seeking a Junior Sous Chef for their upscale health spa. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in culinary arts, particularly in preparing fresh, nutritious meals to meet high standards for the main dining area and lounge. You will be responsible for crafting appealing and healthy dishes for approximately 250 patrons daily. The position entails a 39-hour work week with straight shifts, either early or late, and overtime compensation is available for any extra hours worked.

Compensation & Perks

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and presenting meals for the main kitchen and lounge area

  • Proficient in preparing high-quality meals for large groups
  • NVQ Level 2 certification is preferred, along with ideally four years of professional kitchen experience
