Position: Aircraft Wildcat Base Maintenance Supervisor

Morson Technical Services is actively looking for an Aircraft Wildcat Base Maintenance Supervisor to oversee operations in a permanent role.

About Morson Technical Services:

Our dedicated Wildcat Base Maintenance team is responsible for performing comprehensive 300-hour zonal maintenance on a fleet of Army and Navy Wildcat Helicopters. This team undergoes a rigorous 17-week training program, executing essential tasks such as disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and rectification of aircraft to ensure they meet the standards required for operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain necessary authorizations and ensure technical proficiency through ongoing training.
  • Execute aircraft maintenance in accordance with established procedures and directives.
  • Adhere to GOLDesp protocols and implement tool control measures.
  • Supervise and mentor Technicians and Apprentices while managing the maintenance of facilities.
  • Prepare aircraft for transport, engage in operational exercises, and conduct thorough inspections.
  • Perform additional aircraft-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an aeronautical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent military training.
  • Familiarity with UK Military Aircraft documentation processes.
  • Proficient in the operation of GOLDesp.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting salary of £38,454.00, increasing to £40,184.43 per annum following the probationary period.
  • Potential for banding allowance and discretionary bonuses based on team performance.
  • Five weeks of annual leave along with a company pension scheme.
