We are initiating a recruitment effort for a prominent consultancy firm seeking a Solution Architect to contribute to a significant banking initiative.


Key Responsibilities:

1. **Architectural Leadership:** Spearhead the design and implementation of the Card Account Migration project, crafting a detailed architectural framework and comprehensive design for the transition of card accounts across various systems including Payments, Application Integration, Acquiring, and Issuing.

2. **Impact Assessment Management:** Conduct thorough evaluations to identify potential risks and advantages of proposed solutions, ensuring they align with organizational goals.

3. **Technology Ownership:** Serve as the authority on specific technologies related to the migration process. Establish the strategic direction and ongoing support for these technologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

4. **Governance Advocacy:** Maintain architectural integrity by providing guidance and oversight throughout project execution.

5. **Stakeholder Engagement:** Build and nurture collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders to understand their requirements and facilitate a successful migration process.

6. **Collaboration with Technical Teams:** Forge strong partnerships with the CTO and other architects to share insights and drive collective achievements.


Required Expertise:

1. **Proven Architectural Experience:** Demonstrate substantial hands-on experience in defining, documenting, and delivering comprehensive technical solutions across the enterprise.

2. **Application and API Architecture Proficiency:** Possess a robust understanding of application and API architecture principles, including service definitions and web service implementations.

3. **Comprehensive Solution Architecting:** Exhibit a solid history of architecting extensive solutions that encompass both software/application architecture and integration.


Preferred Qualifications:

1. **Complex IT Program Management:** Showcase the ability to manage intricate IT delivery programs from initiation to completion.

2. **Architectural Certifications:** Hold relevant certifications such as TOGAF or BCS, reinforcing your architectural credentials.

3. **Java/Java Enterprise Familiarity:** Knowledge of Java/Java Enterprise technologies is advantageous.
