We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to join our team at Gap Healthcare. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the Children's residential home's Statement of Purpose and managing the team to achieve the same.
About the RoleThis is a permanent and full-time position, offering a salary up to £40,000 per annum (based on experience). Our client provides specialist support to children and young people in care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a Children's Residential Home and ensure the efficient operation of the service in accordance with relevant legislation, procedures, policies, and the Statement of Purpose for the home.
- Be the Registered Manager for Ofsted and participate in the recruitment of staff, including vetting, interviewing, and inducting new employees.
- Ensure professional ethics and behavior are always demonstrated by all staff. Provide support, advice, and coaching to all staff within the Home.
- Be accountable and take responsibility for liaising with regulatory organizations in relation to the way the home is managed.
- Ensure that the Company's financial and administrative procedures are adhered to and work within a set budget.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Thorough understanding of OFSTED compliance.
- Level 5 in Health and Social Care - Children Services.
- Driver with access to a car.
