Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) standards.
- Facilitate daily team meetings focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Inspire and develop team members through regular performance evaluations and training sessions.
- Enhance operational workflows, facility layouts, and processes to maximize productivity.
- Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for shipping and logistics operations.
- Conduct regular audits, inventory checks, and resolve any discrepancies in stock levels.
- Utilize problem-solving techniques to address performance issues effectively.
- Maintain organized storage areas, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and improve departmental efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Experience in a leadership role within logistics or material handling is preferred.
- A proactive mindset towards continuous improvement is essential.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and structured approach to tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in using ERP systems and computer applications.
Working Hours
Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
