A well-respected national brokerage is currently seeking to enhance their team with a Commercial Insurance Account Executive. They are looking for a proactive and dedicated individual with prior experience in commercial insurance to cater to the diverse needs of a range of public sector and governmental clients.
The Account Executive will assist in managing the client portfolio alongside the Account Manager, ensuring all necessary actions for contract renewals are effectively implemented.
This role serves as the primary contact for all external inquiries and challenges, requiring the expertise and knowledge to fulfill client expectations.
This is a hybrid role, requiring attendance in the office for two days each week.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional and efficient service to clients.
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers to provide a thorough insurance service to primarily existing clients, as well as some potential new customers.
- Engage with a variety of clients, from smaller businesses to large corporate entities.
- Ensure all documentation related to placing, modifying, or renewing clients' insurance programs is completed accurately and within a reasonable timeframe.
- Contribute to fostering a strong company image characterized by professionalism, competence, and client satisfaction.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in account management within a commercial insurance setting, along with relevant technical knowledge.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent skills in building and maintaining relationships.
- Able to work under pressure and quickly process large volumes of information.
- Skills in influencing and negotiation.
- Commercial awareness.
- A willingness to pursue ACII qualification is encouraged, though not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary up to £45,000.
