About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Medicines Management. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective management of medicines across our wards and departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain experience in all areas of ward-based medicines management, including dispensary services, clinical trials, and mentoring other staff.
  • Work as part of a clinical technical service team, recording patient medication history and processing discharges at ward and dispensary level.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient medication.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective management of medicines.
Requirements
  • Registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • BTEC Professional Development certificate in Dispensing Technician Checking.
  • Proven qualified hospital or community pharmacy experience.
  • Basic working knowledge of Pharmacy practice.
  • Good written communication skills.
  • Awareness of the duties of this post.
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Good customer relation skills.
