About Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT) is dedicated to providing high-quality, safe, and effective healthcare services to the residents of Cheshire and surrounding areas.
Established as an NHS Trust in April 1991 and achieving Foundation Trust status in April 2008, we manage several healthcare facilities and employ nearly 5,000 staff members, offering around 540 hospital beds and a variety of services, including emergency care, maternity, outpatient services, therapies, and pediatric health.
MCHFT is part of the Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP), a collaborative health initiative that delivers a range of community services to residents in South Cheshire and Vale Royal.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, our Trust was recognized for its commitment to safety through the 'Be Safe Be EquiPPEd' initiative, which promoted the correct use of personal protective equipment.
The results from the 2020 national NHS Staff Survey indicated significant improvements in safety culture, with 92% of respondents feeling their roles positively impacted patient care. Our workforce health and wellbeing initiatives have also received national recognition.
At Mid Cheshire, we prioritize our staff's wellbeing, understanding that providing the highest quality, compassionate care to our patients begins with supporting our colleagues.
