About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our expanding Data and Analytics team at Harnham. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a new AWS serverless data platform, ensuring the smooth operation of our data pipelines and driving business growth through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Python and AWS services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data pipelines and ensure seamless data flow.
  • Implement best coding practices, including CI/CD, to ensure high-quality code and efficient deployment.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of AWS services, including Kafka, to stream real-time data and improve data processing.
  • Work closely with the Data Analytics team to identify business opportunities and drive data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in data engineering, with a focus on AWS serverless architecture.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in data pipeline development.
  • Excellent understanding of CI/CD practices and experience with AWS services, including Kafka.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
