Position Overview

As the Lead Regulatory Compliance Manager, you will oversee the international regulatory adherence of all Trinny London offerings, encompassing cosmetic, general, and OTC products. Reporting directly to the Head of Product Integrity, you will collaborate with our technical and branding teams to ensure our products meet global market standards and to devise and execute a comprehensive Global Regulatory Strategy that maintains our agility and efficiency amid rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities may include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to convey complex regulatory requirements and technical information in a clear manner for diverse audiences, facilitating the launch of innovative products.
  • Ensuring compliance of all product artworks and marketing communications across various channels for our target markets.
  • Partnering with the Head of Technical to formulate and implement our Global Regulatory strategy.
  • Overseeing the regulatory processes for our US FDA OTC formulations.
  • Assisting Brand Innovation and Technical teams with proposed claims and testing for all products to maximize compliance with legislation in key markets.
  • Developing expertise in global regulations to ensure Trinny London remains agile and compliant during its rapid growth.
  • Managing multiple applications concurrently and liaising directly with regulatory bodies, agencies, distributors, and other stakeholders to address application challenges.
  • Authoring and compiling technical documentation for submissions, licensing, re-licensing, and change reporting.
  • Conducting research and reporting on relevant regulations while performing impact/gap analyses to ensure seamless implementations in assigned markets.
  • Representing Trinny London with the CTPA to stay informed on the latest regulatory market updates and legislation.
  • Building strong and supportive relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Qualifications

The following skills will be advantageous in this role:

  • A degree in a scientific discipline (cosmetic or pharmaceutical science) or a fundamental science (chemistry, biology, or biochemistry).
  • Extensive experience in cosmetic regulatory affairs.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues and providing solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen eye for creativity and detail.
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a focus on speed to market.
  • Results-driven, with a proven ability to utilize and manage organizational resources to achieve objectives.
