About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Front End Developer to join our Shopify development team at WRK digital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and extending in-house Shopify themes, delivering extensions, and improving website performance and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and extending in-house Shopify themes and delivering extensions
  • Improving and maintaining website performance and accessibility
  • Clearly documenting and educating stakeholders on new features or changes to the platform
  • Assessing the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs in Shopify
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements

  • Solid experience and understanding of tech such as HTML, CSS, and JS
  • Embracing best practices for SEO
  • Good understanding of package management (npm) and build tools (gulp)
  • React and Typescript experience

Bonus Skills

  • Confidently using Shopify's Admin and Storefront API's (GraphQL, REST)
  • Exposure to custom Shopify App development and Shopify's Polaris
  • Experience with Figma and command line tools
  • Commercial experience with Shopify Liquid
