Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Technician to join our team at NCG. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the effective operation of our 3D workshop, ensuring the safe use of specialist equipment, and providing supervision to learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the maintenance of facilities, in line with health and safety requirements.
  • Supervise learners working in the workshop and demonstrate the safe use of specialist equipment.
  • Coordinate the preparation and replenishment of resources utilised within the 3D workshop.
  • Take a lead on the implementation and adherence to specific industry requirements within the department.
  • Utilize Computer Aided Design (CAD) skills to support the workshop's operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a creative industry setting.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools.
