Delivery Driver Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our logistics team in South Croydon, United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to customers, maintaining excellent service and adherence to delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers across various locations, adhering to delivery schedules and time constraints.
- Load and unload goods with care, ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Follow established delivery routes and maintain accurate records of delivery times and locations.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition, performing regular checks and reporting any issues to the management.
- Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery times, resolve any issues, and provide excellent customer service.
- Complete delivery records and paperwork accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies, prioritizing the safety of yourself and others on the road.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher) and a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation principles.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
- Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to handle and lift heavy items, with a strong focus on safety and physical well-being.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business.
