Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Maintech Recruitment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing production machinery, ensuring the smooth operation of the site.
Key Responsibilities- Perform day-to-day maintenance of site machinery
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and all associated system activity
- Monitor repair times and mean time between failure, and find new methods/procedures to reduce these
- Provide maintenance support to production to ensure efficient performance of all equipment
- Ensure accurate and timely records are entered into the maintenance system relating to all work carried out, root causes, and spare parts used
- Adhere to all company SSOW and RA's for maintenance tasks, completing Dynamic Risk Assessments in ad-hoc situations
- Make food safety a priority while maintaining the machinery
- Participate in continuous improvement activities as directed
- Recognized Engineering qualification, minimum of a level 3 City and Guilds
- Multi-Skilled approach either Mechanical or Electrical Bias
- Experience of working with manufacturing machinery
- Background preferably in Food Manufacturing or FMCG
- Fault finding on PLC's
- NEBOSH or IOSH is desirable
- Basic Salary £45,000 pa
- 6am - 6pm continental shift pattern
- Holiday Allowance: 22.5 Shifts
