Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Maintech Recruitment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing production machinery, ensuring the smooth operation of the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance of site machinery
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and all associated system activity
  • Monitor repair times and mean time between failure, and find new methods/procedures to reduce these
  • Provide maintenance support to production to ensure efficient performance of all equipment
  • Ensure accurate and timely records are entered into the maintenance system relating to all work carried out, root causes, and spare parts used
  • Adhere to all company SSOW and RA's for maintenance tasks, completing Dynamic Risk Assessments in ad-hoc situations
  • Make food safety a priority while maintaining the machinery
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities as directed
Requirements
  • Recognized Engineering qualification, minimum of a level 3 City and Guilds
  • Multi-Skilled approach either Mechanical or Electrical Bias
  • Experience of working with manufacturing machinery
  • Background preferably in Food Manufacturing or FMCG
  • Fault finding on PLC's
  • NEBOSH or IOSH is desirable
