Job Summary:The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others. Experience working with children or young people is essential, and relevant qualifications in education or a related field are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one and small group mentoring to students, offering guidance and advice on educational and personal issues.
- Support students with academic, social, and emotional challenges, developing and implementing personalized learning plans.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff, promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Monitor and track student progress, collaborating with teachers and support staff to address student needs.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or completion of an application for a new check.
