About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Gumboots Nursery and Pre-School in East Dulwich. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality Early Years education and care to children from birth to 5 years old.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery, including finances, staffing, health and safety, and team management.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that meet the needs of our children, promoting their learning and development.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in nursery life.
  • Maintain and improve the quality of education provided, ensuring that our nursery meets the highest standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 or above childcare qualification that is full and relevant for the Early Years sector.
  • Experience as a Nursery Deputy Manager or Room Leader, with a passion for providing high-quality Early Years education and care.
  • The right to work in the UK.
