Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Operative to join our team at Gap Personnel - Gloucester. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for loading saw machines, cutting parts to size, sanding and rubbing down on parts, and assembling parts with precision and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading saw machines and cutting parts to size as per customer orders
- Sanding and rubbing down on parts (pre-paint)
- Dexterous assembly of parts (no heavy lifting required)
- Machine operation – full training will be provided
- Final quality inspection of parts prior to paint
Requirements:
- Be comfortable working at a fast pace – manufacturing targets will be required to be met
- Always keep a clean and safe working area
- Be comfortable completing paperwork
- Will abide by health and safety rules
- Have an interest within engineering or manufacturing
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 8am – 5pm, Friday, 8am – 1pm
