Job Title: Transportation Refrigeration Engineer

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Bodmin Workshop and Mobile across Devon & Cornwall

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Transport Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical automotive engineering, with a focus on refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Service and repair all makes of refrigeration units, portable cold stores, and ancillary equipment to a high standard.
  2. Participate in a stand-by rota to provide customers with 24/7 breakdown cover.
  3. Maintain van stocks, keeping accurate records of transfers from stock locations and usage on jobs.
  4. Carry out regular checks of allocated van and equipment.
  5. Attend and complete training courses as required.

Requirements:

  • City and Guilds Level 2 Award in F-Gas and ODS Regulations (or equivalent)
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical automotive engineering
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Literacy and numeracy
