About the Role

We are seeking an upbeat and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Postperson with Driving. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers across Cambridge and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
  • Operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and bicycles
  • Meet safety and security standards when handling mail and parcels

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, paid monthly, with an hourly rate of £12.54p/hr. Overtime is paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate. You will also receive 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata), and full uniform provided. In addition, you will have access to our company pension scheme, with competitive contribution rates, and excellent family friendly support, including enhanced maternity pay, paternity leave, adoption leave and shared parental leave.

Requirements

  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
