Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile HGV Technician to join our team at Kemp Recruitment Ltd. As a Mobile HGV Technician, you will be responsible for performing fault diagnosis and repairs on heavy vehicles, providing technical support to our garage team, and liaising with our technical and engineering management teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced diagnostic tests and repairs on heavy vehicles using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Provide technical support and training to our garage team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform repairs and maintenance.
  • Liaise with our technical and engineering management teams to ensure that all technical issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Reduce our dependency on external contractors by providing in-house technical support and expertise.
  • Produce periodic reports on garage technical issues to help identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs.
  • Diagnostic skills, with hybrid training being a plus.
  • Experience working with a range of equipment and systems, including Volvo Tech-tool/Impact, BAE / Siemen hybrid systems, Cummins Insite Pro, Cummins Quick-serve, Allison Doc, ZF Testman, Mercedes Xentry, and BYD KT710.
