About the Opportunity
Abbott's diagnostics division is seeking a dedicated Account Manager to cultivate and manage customer relationships within the Black Country region. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction, driving renewals, and generating new business opportunities.
Our diagnostic solutions are instrumental in healthcare settings worldwide, providing crucial information for patient care decisions across a wide range of conditions, from heart disease to infectious diseases and cancer.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive post-sales support to customers, encompassing all aspects of their business except instrument repair.
- Collaborate with customers on the implementation and transition of new diagnostic solutions.
- Develop and execute account strategies to expand Abbott's business footprint within existing accounts.
- Proactively identify customer needs, propose tailored solutions, and become a trusted advisor.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in the diagnostic industry, with a focus on account management and relationship building.
- A demonstrated track record of success in managing and expanding existing accounts within the healthcare sector.
- In-depth product knowledge and understanding of key stakeholders within the diagnostics market.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and solution selling skills.
- Fluency in English and local language; additional languages are highly advantageous.
