We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Obstetric Sonographer to join our team at Your Baby Scan, a modern and non-diagnostic 4D Ultrasound Scan Centre. As a Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in delivering a premium experience to our customers, providing safe and accurate ultrasound services.

• Maintain a safe and clean scan room environment, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and patient care.
• Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly cleaned and maintained between scans, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
• Welcome customers into the scan room with a warm and welcoming demeanor, providing a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
• Accurately record and verify customer details, ensuring informed consent and understanding of the procedure's risks.
• Perform basic health assessments of the embryo/fetus, including CRL/HC/FL measurement checks against GA and FHR.
• Conduct scans to evaluate embryo/fetal health, identifying potential issues and abnormalities, such as bleeding or developmental concerns.
• Accurately identify and report fetal development abnormalities, such as cleft lip, in accordance with BMUS guidelines.
• Comply with NHS and SoR protocols for obstetric ultrasound, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
• Navigate the fetus/baby and guide customers through 2D and 3D images, capturing high-quality images for customer selection.
• Communicate complex information and news about suspected fetal abnormalities or no fetal heartbeat in a clear, compassionate, and empathetic manner.

• 1 year of experience in Obstetrics Ultrasound (preferred)
• HCPC Registration (required)

We are flexible and can adapt working hours to suit the right candidate. The successful candidate will be an employee of Your Baby Scan Ltd and will be paid via PAYE, subject to Income Tax and NI. Working hours can be agreed upon with the successful candidate and may include:

• Monday to Friday: 11am - 8pm
• Saturday to Sunday: 10am - 7pm
