Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our IT Department in Maidstone. This role will report to the Head of IT and work closely with the Technical Architect to provision cloud resources that meet the organisation's needs, while ensuring compliance with IT policy and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on projects to improve system reliability, security, and compliance of cloud resources.
  • Collaborate with the wider IT team to migrate services from on-prem to cloud.
  • Share knowledge with the IT team to ensure operational resilience.
  • Provide regular progress updates on long-term projects.
  • Experience with Windows Server, Linux & Containers.
  • A team player with a flexible attitude and approach.

Desired Skills & Experience

  1. Experience with other cloud vendors, such as AWS or GCP.
  2. Experience in scripting or programming languages, such as PowerShell or Python.
