Job Summary

The Business Development Manager role is a key position that involves bringing in new contract business and growing the Tiro name across the contract market within engineering. This is a high-impact role that offers a high degree of autonomy and a genuine opportunity for the appointed individual to make a significant contribution to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new contract business opportunities across the UK, working with key clients in the engineering sector.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients, discussing opportunities for longer-term relationships and following up on leads generated.
  • Work closely with an existing team of specialist engineering consultants to identify and attract highly sought-after and often scarce skill sets.
  • Provide a consultative approach to prospective clients, understanding their challenges in attracting suitable individuals and demonstrating how Tiro Contracts Ltd can support them with these projects.
  • Prioritize workload and develop the business, working autonomously while being part of a supportive team.
  • Develop business within engineering sectors, demonstrating the ability to understand technical and role-specific requirements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within the recruitment industry, with a proven track record of bringing new clients onboard successfully.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, prioritizing workload and developing the business.
