We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor / Employers Agent to enhance our dynamic Property Division. This division is known for its extensive portfolio, catering to both private and public sector clients, and is recognized for delivering top-tier services in the property market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage pre and post-contract cost consultancy and quantity surveying services.
- Lead and mentor a team, ensuring the highest standards of technical excellence in service delivery.
- Implement quality control measures to optimize costs, enhance performance, and improve client satisfaction metrics.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, facilitating repeat business and identifying new opportunities.
Essential Skills:
- Proven leadership abilities to inspire and develop a team of professionals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills, capable of advising senior client representatives on critical issues.
- Proficient in IT applications, including Office Suite, BIM/CAD software, and cost planning tools.

Technical Expertise:
- Extensive experience in managing project costs and providing consultancy services in the property sector.
- Ability to prepare detailed estimates and contract documentation.

- Proficient in contract administration under various forms, including NEC and JCT.
Business Development:
- Actively manage client accounts and promote the company at industry events.
- Collaborate with colleagues across service lines to identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Contribute to the generation of new business and the development of market opportunities.
Qualifications:
- A relevant construction qualification and progress towards professional membership of a recognized institution.
- A valid driving license is preferred.
