Job Summary

Opogo Careers is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a primary school setting. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and the SEND Coordinator to provide personalized support and ensure that all students receive a high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the learning and development of pupils with SEND, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver individual education plans (IEPs), tailoring support to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support inside and outside the classroom, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
