About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team at Volvo Car UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles of all makes and models, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair vehicles of all makes and models
  • Carry out PDI/preparation of new/used vehicles to manufacturers' standards
  • Diagnose faults and carry out testing of vehicles
  • Ensure all work is carried out effectively and within the manufacturer repair times
  • Accurately record all details on the relevant job card(s)
  • Ensure all work is carried out to high/manufacturers' standards
  • Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times
  • Maintain and update your individual experience, skills and knowledge through training programmes
  • Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety standards and requirements
  • Liaise effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels in a polite, professional and efficient manner
Requirements
  • A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised qualification, ideally level 3 but level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace
  • MOT License would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be offered

Working Hours and Salary

Working hours: 8.30-5pm Monday-Friday, plus Saturday on a rota pm.

Salary: (depending on level of experience) + overtime available
