Job Title: Despatch Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Despatch Manager to join our team at Strive Supply Chain. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the despatch operational team and coordinating with all levels of the business to ensure product is packed and delivered to exacting and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to the despatch operational team and coordinate with all levels of the business to ensure product is packed and delivered to exacting and legal standards.
  • Coordinate and organise daily despatch activities, including assigning tasks to team members and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity in the despatch operation.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and delivery of products to customers.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to despatch operations, including delivery times, product quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a despatch or logistics management role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
