Electrical Maintenance Specialist - Leeds - Competitive Salary

CBW Staffing Solutions is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join a prominent facilities management organization. This role involves overseeing a significant commercial facility, where you will engage in a variety of electrical maintenance and diagnostic tasks.

The work schedule follows a 4 on 4 off pattern, alternating between day and night shifts, with working hours spanning from 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a customer-focused, responsive maintenance service.
  • Execute a diverse array of reactive and planned maintenance activities, ensuring they are performed to the highest standards.
  • Conduct maintenance, repairs, testing, and inspections of building systems, mechanical and electrical services, and associated equipment, adhering to relevant standards and operational protocols.
  • Undergo training to qualify for Authorised Person responsibilities.
  • Supervise a small team comprising Maintenance Craftspersons and Maintenance Assistants.
Possess the capability to maintain, service, and repair a broad spectrum of building services, including:
  • Heating and domestic water systems
  • General electrical services, such as lighting and power
  • Air handling units
  • Low voltage electrical distribution systems and switchgear
  • Emergency standby generating equipment
  • Fire alarm systems and emergency lighting
  • Electrical control systems
  • Building Management Systems
Person Specification:
  • Qualified engineer with post-apprenticeship experience
  • 18th Edition certification is desirable
  • Cross-trade experience is advantageous
